In 1956 due to small trunk space the spare tire was moved outside  the trunk

to the style of a CONTINENTAL

This year  the  Hardtop, removable top had small port hole windows

The exhaust still came out of the bumpers, but at the bottom

Vent ports were put in to make the cockpit cooler

Introductory price was $2842.00., There were 15,631 produced
