‘Thunderbirds Roll at the River Rock’
You are cordially invited to attend a CTCI Convention in beautiful Vancouver BC on
Canada’s West Coast. The event hosted by the Totem Classic T-Bird Club of BC will be
held at the River Rock Casino Resort (
www.riverrock.com) located in Richmond on thewww.riverrock.comhttp://www.yahoo.com/Fraser River (near the Vancouver International Airport, should you choose to travel by
air). By car, driving time from the Canada/US border is approximately thirty minutes.
The River Rock Resort is a first class, (non-smoking) all-suite hotel featuring a casino,
in-door swimming pool, spa & health club facilities along with your choice of several
fine restaurants to suit all tastes.
While we’re still in the planning stages, and in addition to regular convention and
concours events, we anticipate ‘off site trips’ to one (or perhaps two) excellent
automobile collections, shopping excursions and a visit to the popular Vancouver
Aquarium (
www.vanaqua.org) located in world famous Stanley Park(
www.seestanleypark.com).Our event is planned mid-week to allow ample driving time both before, and after the
event. Speaking of ‘after the event’, why not spend a few extra days and…

Make the three hour scenic drive to Whistler Village, home of the 2010 winterOlympics and plan to spend a couple of days. (

another ferry directly back into Washington State (

Important notes !!!
If you would like to join us for what is sure to be a great vacation and convention, we
strongly recommend that you make your room reservations before February 28
th 2009 totake advantage of our special ‘Early Bird’ room rates of $139 – one bedroom suite or
$239 – two bedroom suites by calling 1-866-748-3718 or 604-247-8900 and asking for
the Thunderbird Club Function. Room rates increase by $30 per night on March 1
st 2009,so book early!
By the summer of 2009 there is a very strong likelihood that you will need either a US
passport or the new 'US Passport Card' to travel into Canada and back into the United
States again. We strongly advise our American friends to obtain travel documents prior to
the trip. (

st 2009 and inthe mean time, here is a great deal. For a $50 (either US or Cdn) refundable convention
deposit made prior to February 28
